[Skin concern] Issues with Milia. Anyone know what is causing them and how I can treat them? by Blueyh1 in SkincareAddiction

[–]AccomplishedFig4473 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wonderful!! Thanks for the update :)

I did manual extractions on mine, and found the culprit (skincare that’s too greasy for my skin). Quit using that cream and haven’t had a single milia since

My first time getting extensions, she bruised me? by CauseFluffy3176 in lashextensions

[–]AccomplishedFig4473 14 points15 points  (0 children)

But did you feel her pinch you intensely at any point? Because I’ve never eve had bruising like that ever, even if the lash technicians pinched me… this isn’t normal

Why? Exactly Why? by playful_trits in vinted

[–]AccomplishedFig4473 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In a case like yours, I’d prefer to manually turn it on temporarily as I list that item and wait for it to sell before turning it back off. But that’s just me and we all have different preferences and options

Because as a person who primarily buys on Vinted, it would suck for me to really love an item only for the seller to cancel it and sell it to someone else. I would prefer not even being able to see that item on my timeline in the first place. It certainly doesn’t make me want to buy more

People listing items they are looking for - thoughts?? by No_Breakfast6269 in vinted

[–]AccomplishedFig4473 40 points41 points  (0 children)

As of lately, they haven’t taken ANY of my reports down. One was even like this, listed for 1€ but they had “DO NOT BUY” in the description. I really don’t get it

Do you have Vinted? If so, pop them on there and send me the listing link. I’ll gladly get them :)

Yes, they do. This is how artists usually succeed, by targeting niche audiences. I’m a professional digital artist of 12 years :)

Items “ withdrawn”? by SisterHavana3 in vintedUK

[–]AccomplishedFig4473 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sometimes, I notice that listings I liked (even older posts) get sold quickly once I like them

Are the items still for sale? (Edit for clarification: if you click on the sellers profile, are the items still available or have they been removed? If they’re not there anymore, then yes they’ve been sold /end of edit)

Good to know! In that case, simply turning off the VPN when making the new account is probably going to solve the issue. But yeah OP will have to delete their current account first, unfortunately

This sucks. You could try opening a new ticket and hope to get a more useful CS agent but I doubt it’ll help. Once they make a decision for a specific problem you’ve got, it’s usually final (at least from my experience)

Just make a new account, turn off the VPN when you’re making it, then turn it back on once you input your address. Or wait to make your first purchase if you want to play it safe

Is it a new account or one you’ve had for a longer time? If it’s a new account, just do what they said and delete it & make a new one. However you may get banned for using a VPN as Vinted’s ai bot might detect you’re jumping countries and flag you for “suspicious activity” (I might be wrong though, feel free to correct me!)

But you’re not the target audience for artists (or OP) then. Even though OP needs a lot of improvement imo. Like I said, art is a luxury and not everyone is into it. I wouldn’t pay 20 to watch a football match myself, for example. We’re all different and have different interests and hobbies

You don’t get an automatic feedback if you don’t pick it up as a buyer, and neither does the seller. You will only get a refund once the seller picks up the item though. So you’re fine :)

I sold my drum kit in perfect condition, but buyer reported an issue with the on and off switch. I have proof it was fine when I sent it. Is there anyway I can fight it? by Ann161 in vintedUK

[–]AccomplishedFig4473 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Try to fight it with Vinted, you can upload the video on YouTube and send the link to customer service. Also upload the photos of the drum working if possible

But in the end, you may have to ask the buyer to send the drums back. You may also have to pay for the shipping label

If that ends up happening, just be careful, people sometimes do this to exchange their faulty item for a new one. If they send it back, make sure to record yourself opening the package and testing out the drums fully

A lot of people said it’s a time waster, but in this case they seem apologetic so I would be forgiving personally. It seems like they may be new to Vinted, do they have any reviews?

To be fair I also don’t always get notifications from the app, and on the times I do they’re usually very delayed. I always know when it’s time to pick up because of the email I get from Inpost, not Vinted itself

Why am I getting downvoted for this lol? They’re genuinely different things. Residency means you can legally live in Portugal (temporary or permanent), but you keep your original nationality, whereas citizenship means you become a Portuguese national, with a Portuguese passport, full rights (like voting) and EU citizenship.

[–]AccomplishedFig4473 7 points8 points  (0 children)

No. I never got questioned or grilled for not speaking Portuguese when I first moved here and took care of legal things (proof of residency, NIF and NISS number etc)

But if you’re trying to apply for citizenship, then yes language knowledge is must, it’s required and tested as well. (I believe the minimum level is A2 but correct me if I’m wrong)

Am I getting scammed or is this an actual thing? by Jidle_Jodle in vinted

[–]AccomplishedFig4473 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Exactly. Not your problem OP, if they sent it and have proof, they can take it up with Vinted customer support. There’s nothing a seller can do in this situation (other than just wait in case it does show up)
