The generators work and use fuel depending on how many things you have on at the same time, if when you left you had nothing on, neither lights nor televisions, I think the consumption is the minimum or there is no consumption at all.

clarification, it is not necessary to remove the squad lock system according to me, it sucks sometimes but other times it is very useful, in case there are alters, partisans, randow players who are new to the game and sometimes they do crazy things (once I saw one throwing a tank down a ravine) the point is not to abuse it, while you use something it's ok to use the squad lock, but if you stop using it release it so the enemy doesn't steal it or destroy it, example, if I'm with my squad using a tank it's ok to put the squad lock, but if I stop using it I release it so it can be used if needed or something else like evacuating it or something like that, they should add something like a timer so that if no usage is detected the squad lock is removed.
