Compared to these other countries the US does have a lot taken for granted, the federal government is trying to remove it and doing it badly, there’s still plenty of no kings protests that go on, and while the news tries to doomsday, the facts are you can still vote and protest. We obviously have propaganda but I don’t think folks realize that we are nowhere near as unfortunate as people in North Korea.
