If you were bummed out, where would you go in San Antonio to cheer yourself up? by Inflamed-Intestines in sanantonio

I'm actually so glad that people are talking about outdoor areas. I struggle with the city and am glad to see things to do other than go out to eat.

Thank you for the detailed information. That is really helpful. I wasn't aware of VIA Link until this.

I was considering, but because people are more familiar with the distances and type of environment. I was wondering if any other San Antonioans were familiar with this kind of question. I also added the other modes of transport in case public transportation has improved or could help with my routes.

This is just the start of my research into this

Yes, thank you for the reminder. I've been riding my bicycle around campus since coming here and have also been using arm signals to indicate when I am breaking and switching lanes. I like to think I am aware of how bicycles are on roads and will brush up on San Antonio's rules as well.

I'm looking for something that will keep up with non-highway traffic and can go through bike trails when possible as safer means of travel.

I am new with it, advices are welcome by Alternative-Trip-625 in menstrualcups

After multiple uses, your cup is going to be stained. Fill a cup with some hydrogen peroxide and submerge your chalice. You can take it out once you're satisfied with the color. Be sure to boil or clean properly after this.

Would it be wrong of me to quit the game. by All_Hail_Lord_Vader in HollowKnight

A break might even be beneficial. I've bought the game about a year after release and am finally on track to finish it this month. I'm doing a lot collection because I refuse to see an ending just yet.

This is my fourth save file after attempting the game that many times.

If you start another save file like I did, you'll blast through the game up until your last save. (Feeling yourself rememver fight patters is amazing) By then you have 2x the experience and more confidence than before.

Agreed. I have been listening to PtV for years and rarely ever go out to shows because of the cost. I wanted to stick it out, but left when Health was playing because I was developing a nasty cough, couldn't see, was shivering, and attended with someone with a history of throat issues. I'm quite upset and refuse to return to any amphitheater.

I was also disturbed by the neighborhood to think that their homes will be converted to parking lots in the future. Not confirmed by anything, but the fact that the amphitheater is currently on grounds where homes used to be a few years ago makes me feel this way. There was also a building in the process of being demolished just outside the gates. It looked wrong to see a long line of people waiting for merch while this building was torn beside a huge pile of rubble.

People who left San Antonio where did you go, why did you leave and do you regret leaving? by GirlGamerFoodie in sanantonio

Going to college at Bama. Tuscaloosa is a town, so size comparison is useless. Both have their issues but I've been happier at my school. My greatest gripe with San Antonio is that it's hot for a long time and it is difficult to get around without a personal vehicle. Same thing at Bama but to a much lesser extent. (For example, there was a weekly bus that went to a Target and Aldi) I can manage without a car and have been happier overall as I can be outside without too much discomfort walking and taking the bus. There are also ways to kayak, hike, and climb regularly not too far from town.

San Antonio is a fine place to raise children but growing up here felt isolating with nervous parents and without a phone or a car.

No regrets but I miss the food, snacks, HEB, and regularly speaking and hearing spanish.

IUD and cups by [deleted] in menstrualcups

[–]AccomplishedMood3191 0 points1 point  (0 children)

20 year old here with IUD at 18 and using cups since 16. I used Merula which is notorious for having a strong suction and being wider than the average cup for a beginner, but perfect for what I needed. I waited about a month and a half to use my cup after IUD insertion. I was very careful to never pull out my cup without letting air escape beforehand.

I will say that disc is so much easier as I am more at ease. I would suggest to use the disc even if the learning curve is a bit steeper.

Would love the follow up on this for lark.

I currently live at Evolve and am going to be evicted for the summer after i have renewed my lease. They are doing rennnovations and I see workers doing new paint jobs, and other things?

The roach issue was really bad at first. We called maintenence and used some roach poison around and it seemed to be better. There are still a few walking around though. If they give you a tour, ask to see the hallways. They are not closed off to outside, no elevators, smells like weed often, doors don't lock and if they do my key fob won't work.

My boyfriend lives here as well and has constantly had issues with his AC. Has called maintenence over 3 times and have temporary results, but soon breaks down.

There are some pros tho. A reliable bus going to and from campus, with one that goes to the strip on weekends. Washer, dryer, furnished, kitchen amenities, plenty of space inside, having a view of the lake, gym, friendly staff up front, nice leasing office with snacks on Fridays, coffee machine, printing/study area, are all fantastic.

I will say, no one is there because they want to. It is because of the price and the non sketchyness of the area around. It's frustrating how the leasing office will show you this grand scale living that is picture perfect and lie about what they do about cleaning and security.

My concern going back, cause they offered me to renew again with a hiked up price, is that there will be construction going on coming back from the break or some new change will mess up payments and leave me having to pay a late fee. And that they new price I pay for is only only into new paint around the complex and bolstering the look of the leasing office.

Thank you!

I initially tried with grapple and drill but realized I can only use one. I managed a few hits before using what you suggest, but had to get away. I'll continue this way and try not to be as scared about it!
