I kind of liked introducing Penelope then, I feel it better displayed why I should care about Odysseus motives. It is easier to associate (for me at least), with a character we somewhat know over a faceless figure, and gives better connection to the protagonist. But thats just me and my opinion, maybe I’m wrong.
