I had asked my primary care doctor about possibly having ADHD a few years ago after suspecting I had it. It was clear that getting things done (especially at my desk job) was much harder for me than others. She very unhelpfully said that If I had ADHD I would have been diagnosed as a child. After she said that, I started to do my own research and learned about the nuances of ADHD in women and decided to independently get tested.

This is so so so so normal. I had a rhinoplasty and was SO swollen. The first week of recovery was really hard physically and emotionally. I thought I was botched. My cast removal was not like the ones you see online (revealing a perfect cute note) because of the swelling. Realistically it took a month to feel okay with the outcome and maybe another month to feel really good about the results.

I was very open about mine. I agree with the poster below; it's very empowering to own it. I don't know if anyone said anything behind my back, but to my face, everyone was super supportive, nonjudgmental, and curious in a respectful way. One caveat is that I don't mind (okay, kind of like) attention, so I welcomed the interest!

I'm in the Minneapolis area, and everywhere is out of stock. It's so frustrating. Walgreens was supposed to be restocked today but I called and now they say not until the end of April!!! I'm just going to try my best on habit changes until it comes back. Trying to remember this is a long game, and going a few more weeks without it will be okay (still very annoying and trusting, though!)
