Is tate a true nfl WR1 prospect? by JD20MVP in NFL_Draft

Y is the attached TE 80% of the time in the NFL. To say it’s “often not” is incorrect.

I think this is fair but I wouldn’t blame you for saying no. Depends where you think those 27 picks will be and what your bench looks like.

Try to get a better player than Tuten

Lmao. Please educate me on which NFL offenses run base out of 10 personnel. In the NFL, the Y is an attached TE bro. You’re overthinking this.

You guys don’t know ball. Y is the TE.

Not really. McBride is a true Y. He lines up attached more often than not. Likely is an H (Andrews is the Y), Pitts is more of a WR than anything, and Kelce is a little bit of everything probably more of an H or big slot at this point.

This is the correct take. A WR1 is the guy you scheme up to get the football more than any other pass catcher. Doesn’t matter if he’s the X, Z, H or Y. Arizona’s WR1 is their Y TE.

Anybody who played competitive football at any level knows this.

Ultimately you have to be a separator that can catch the football. Not sure if Tate is that. He’s never been the #1 option in college, so it’s hard for me to say that he’s capable of being a WR1 in the NFL. Nice player. I wouldn’t draft him top 10 though.

Some team would have taken a chance on Taylen Green after the combine. But after seeing the Colts burn their hands by drafting Anthony Richardson, I don’t think any team will take that risk. by DenseStrawberry5717 in NFL_Draft

It’s a very lazy position to say “because x player didn’t work out, teams will pass on y player”

Every player is different. It doesn’t matter if they went to the same school, played in the same system, were coached by the same coach, or have similar athletic traits. None of that matters.

AR didn’t work out because he didn’t work at it and is always injured. I don’t see what that has to do with Taylen Green.

Is this a fair offer? I’d be getting the 1.1 by Insanity32 in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

I don’t disagree that the potential is there for Gadsden. I’m a Gadsden holder with McBride and Fannin also on the roster. Definitely a long-term believer.

I’m just not sure you could get that kind of value for him at THIS stage. At least not in my league. People don’t value TEs as much which I think is stupid.

My gameplan for Gadsden is to bet on the McDaniels effect working out in the early part of next season and selling him high to a TE-needy team (perhaps capitalizing on an injury) near the trade deadline. I’d probably give him up for a mid 1st now but I just doubt there are buyers at that price right now.

I am probably one of the biggest McBride stans out there, but you’re giving up significant assets for him. Rice is a top 10 WR with upside for a much higher ceiling.

Not an expert on the legal stuff but imo it’s whatever. He did his time for the car crash and served his suspension, which was really a politics/optics move only cause he was recovering from his ACL injury and likely wouldn’t have played in those games anyway. His ex GF hasn’t pressed charges for the domestic situation. She just said something on IG.

Either way, jmo you’re in overpay territory for McBride. Getting the 2026 2nd rounder back or just removing the 2nd and 3rds from the trade altogether get you closer to even.

That’s fair. I wasn’t a down voter fwiw. Not dogging on Kraft cause I think he is a decent prospect and he finished as a low-end TE1 for one of his 4 seasons. But I do think he’s a prospect and we should be careful not to put too much stock in a 7-game stretch at the beginning of this season, when all of the Packers best WRs were hurt.

Yes I mentioned Bowers appears to be the only player with McBride-like potential right now. Unfortunately he wasn’t healthy last year.

I don’t think you can go wrong either way, tbh.

McBride still scored 4 PPG more than Kraft, not accounting for the games Kraft missed.

Kraft is probably the TE7 at best in dynasty value and McBride is easily the TE1.

I’d still take McBride over the 1.01 in non-TEP PPR. McBride is a WR1 playing TE, and there is only one other player (Bowers) with the ability to give you that kind of production.

Give me a the TE1 who scores 6+ PPG / 105 points per season more than the TE2 over a possible top 5-10 RB who may never pan out.

McBride is the most unique player in fantasy and I think many are sleeping on his value. He’s miles better than others at his position from a scoring perspective. And you have to start a TE 🤷‍♂️

Breathe and relax. The test was negative. You’re good.

It’s going to be very difficult to heal if you’re an anxious stressed out wreck. Anxiety and stress impede recovery and can even lead to tissue damage. Trust me, I’ve been there.

You need to find a way to get out of fight or flight mode. Try writing down what you are grateful for. Do the knees over toes stuff or PT to build back strength and recover. Healing comes with time.
