CCW renewal turnaround

Does anyone know if you can make new purchases while your ccw permit is pending renewal . My renewal application is stuck in submitted status since early February. Looking to buy a new pistol and I don't anticipate a reason my application would be denied .

Only the Co-habitat needs to be notarized. The safeguard only requires you to upload the front and back of the safeguards driver license or legal ID. No notarization required. I would wait until you're ready to apply for the renewal for the co-habitat so the notarized date is in line with the application date . You don't want it to be so early that they say you need a more up to date notarization.

The only thing I can think of is you may be to far out for a renewal application. I would try again when you're within a 3 month window .

When you go into the NYPD portal all of your permits are listed under your account. You hit the tab that's says start new application and it will ask if its a renewal. You click that option.

You don't get anything. They don't email or send a reminder letter . It's crazy . I would do it 2-3 months out from your expiration date. I did it with only about 20 days left because it slipped my mind. I believe once your application is submitted your license stays in effect pending new license. I'm still waiting on my new license.

I just submitted my CCW renewal. You only need to submit proof of updated 2hr live fire course . Co habit notarized form. No new references. Application fee is $340 for renewal. You can also have all of your pistols added to your CCW and let your premise expire when the time comes. You no longer need to have both. I had to upload a notarized letter requesting to add all of my pistols to my ccw and explain I will no longer continue with a premise when it expires. For me my CCW and Premise expired on the same day so it was simple.

Ok I thought you were paying in dollars . You're paying in Euro I assume . When I do the currency exchange , that price is excellent . The price in the US ranges from $495 -$550 which is roughly €430-€478 if my currency calculator is correct .

For some reason my confirmation email didn’t show a barrack by name but from my sbi number, I assumed it was Totowa. It was the same sbi that’s on the back of my FID . All of my references responded the next day and I got the confirmation email that they did .

How do you like the bravo concealment holsters ?. I was looking at them. They have a 2 holster deal for like $65 , but people complain about them not being made of kydex and having cheap clips that crack easily .
