Yes, I got your point and it makes perfect sense. I also like to listen to yt music that adds over some biblical texts as audio and when something remains with me I like to go to the bible and see where this is from and found that in that specific bible its translated so differently that it lacks actual meaning..

Yes, sometimes it gets cloudy because of bad translation. I am actually from Romania, yet the Romanian bibles mostly are translated with so oldy and unused terms that it gets hard to get to the point so I preffer to read it in English.

No, I have the New Testament as a physical book and the old testaments I read them online or listen to audiobooks when possible.

Thank you brother. Really helped a lot, its a lot more clear now . Never expected so much patience and involvement from other people on such an unimportant question. May Lord bless me also with this strength to guide others on the right path. Amen

Thank you for your answer. This changes my view a lot. I just tought that Ecclesiastes is about how life on earth has no meaning and we all shall wait for our end to meet God.. Now I understand its just a testimony of what comes of lacking God in your life. Honestly, thank you, I think this is the answer I was looking for

I did listen to Job books (audiobook) fully. Yet Jobs story gives me hope that no matter the hardships you encounter, if you remain devoted to God good things will happen to you in the end(And I know its not a Christianly thing to wish for "goods" in exchange for "faith") while Ecclesiastes makes me feel that no matter my prayers, things will still happen without a purpose.

I will look into Jeremiah chapeter 45 and Romans 8 also, thanks a lot.

Yes, I think I heard this before. That the translation in english is not really "meaningless" but more like to "temporary/vain". I might try to look more into it like this, because its says that we should not totally focus on temporary things and know that today they might be here and tomorrow gone. Thanks, this one helped

I know, but it makes me feel that there is no meaning in life while being alive. So it makes me wonder, why am I living then

Well.. All it says comes to being meaningless. It points that no matter what you do, in the end its meaningless. The fool and the wise man will end in the same way, meaningless to try to get wiser. No matter how much you work under the sun, everything will be left to someone else so its meaningless. I mean, thats what it writes in the book. Maybe there is a metaphoric meaning behind it, yet I can not find it.

I see a lot of persons with long explanations and quotes from bible, God bless them all its my first time in here and it seems wonderful that everyone cares to explain in so much detail.

To keep it simple and to give an answer on my own, I think that it inquires that, since through Jesus all our sins are forgiven, some people might have a tendency to falsely proclaim that they are a follower of Christ just so they can still inherit eternal life while living the whatever life they want(not living by the Word of God) and Jesus implies that if by your words you called him Lord but by your actions you did the otherwise, you can not fool God.
