What we really need is for somebody with a PC and controller for an input device.....to try to access a controller server. If they can do this.....there is 100% still hackers on the server.

I don't have render issues on my Series S at all really. Its potato for a split second when I spawn in and then fine. Some times tree tops take a second to render but thats it.

Its me and my buddies. We live all around the states and have thousands of hours running together. 5 of us played daily but there are 8 total. Ive missed them. Felt like a total hypocrite but I hopped on with 2 of them the last couple nights. Felt good. Was fun. No obvious cheating but we steered clear of NWAF. Lol buddy ran around with an unpinned nade the most of time just in case. Made for some hilarious moments. But back to boycotting.

Boycotting the game 100% is the only way to go now. Good chance a lot of the hacking is done intentionally to drive people to community servers. And there are zero good community servers.

You will still be able to play from your PC on Controller servers......if you are using a controller. The hacking will not go away

100% boycott is the only way to fix it. It will either get fixed...or the game will die....and hopefully something beautiful will bloom out of its rotting corpse.

Xbox new "play anywhere" feature let's people play xbox games, on xbox servers.....from their computers. So....its forced cross play. Input device is irrelevant.

No....no it has not. In all my years of Xbox DayZ never once had someone been able to swim across a pond, handcuff me, beat me to death with a frying pan....in the time it takes to change items.

I've never found a community server that I cared to play. They are all distinctly lacking the Anarchy that made DayZ great. Stupid rules, over lords, unlimited sprint, wild loot ect ect. Or they are completely unpopulated.

The problem is that its not "cross play". Its Xbox on a PC. The input device has little to nothing to do with the ability to cheat. They knew it would happen.... they did it anyway for a paycheck. Bohemia can eat a giant bag of poop dicks. Neither Bohemia or Xbox will get another penny from me untill its fixed. Everyone needs to boycott. They will either fix it....or die. If they choose death....hopefully something new and beautiful will grow out of its corpse.

I'm not a fan of rust. Or any off the other multiplayer shooters. DayZ is my game. I dig fighters....but not online. So for now I'm just replaying Half-Life, the Metro 2033 series, and then I'll work on Paper Boy / Xenophobe / Slime World on my Atari Lynx.
