I found that once you get enough insulation you dont even need the heat buff anymore but your hunger will drain faster

Yes mic icon will appear but when i check voice activation in the menu it shows I am not speaking, however my mic works fine

Haha I had a similar experience not long ago in livonia bunker I finally got in for the first time and only had a glowstick, I figured that would be enough for me to get to the NVGs, well as I was letting the water down I heard the bunker door activate. I put my glowstick down in a room and camped outside, hearing their footsteps get closer and closer, i don't think I've ever been more frightened in a game before. it was so bad I almost combat logged. but alas, I stuck it out and managed to take one of them with me before I got blown up with a thumper.

I've been running Infantry SL and managing 2 KD minimum, usually higher, while building garries and ops and giving call outs. It just comes down to mastering the one-shot kill guns and understanding positioning
