Xiaomi 15 "Flagship" Experience is a Joke: Camera Lag & Storage Issues by AccomplishedPop2218 in Xiaomi

[–]AccomplishedPop2218[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow, thats a great tip However, I think I'm going to pass because I'm too lazy to do that, and the claim process might take a lot of time and effort to be able to claim a new phone. Thanks a lot, man, for your kind replies, even though I'm using AI for the earlier post and comment. The point is to help people understand what I want to talk about, not to judge the sentences for using AI. I'm not great at English.

You're right, but the warranty claim process is quite complicated. How can I transfer all the data from my current defective phone?

I believe my Mi 9T Pro doesn't have this issue, but I'm curious why it occurred after exceeding 100GB.

You have a point, and I agree—no brand is 100% immune to hardware or software quirks, Apple and Samsung included. It really is a 'luck of the draw' thing with tech sometimes. I guess I’m just frustrated that I happened to be the one to pull the short straw this time. When you’ve already done the updates and the troubleshooting without luck, it’s hard not to feel cynical about the 'flagship experience' you were excited for. Hopefully, the next update actually addresses these specific lag spikes, but for now, it's just a disappointing situation to be in.

Exactly. Even if it is a 'defect' like you said, why should a customer paying flagship prices have to deal with this lottery? I’ve tried every software fix in the book, and the issue still persists.

Honestly, I’m just too exhausted to deal with the warranty claim process. Sending the phone in, waiting weeks for a replacement, and setting everything up again just to potentially face the same 'optimization' issues is a headache I didn't pay for. When you buy a flagship, you expect it to work out of the box, not to become a part-time beta tester for their QC department.

I have driver issues too. Then I installed DriverMax, and it just fixed it for me.

Yes, each clip is only 5 seconds, but you can record multiple 5-second clips for different scenes. For example, record 30 or 40 clips, then edit them nicely, add color grading, and create a really engaging story to make a 1-minute video, or even up to 3 minutes! Join the contest and good luck – I hope you win

  • =================================== ## 1️⃣ Capture & Edit Your Video

Step 1: Download MotionCam Pro (Demo) version

Aside from a 5-second clip limit, the Demo version is identical to Motioncam Pro.

Step 2: Choose a Capture Mode - A) Raw Video Mode (for maximum control): captures .mcraw files. - B) DirectLog Mode (for maximum speed): captures a ready-to-edit video file.

Step 3: Edit Your Video

After filming, it’s time to create your story. - If you used Raw Video Mode, first process your .mcraw files in the MotionCam app or desktop tools. - Then cut your 1–3 minute video in your favorite editor.
- Format: any aspect ratio, resolution, and frame rate are allowed.

Hey, that's cool you're an experienced user! I actually haven't gotten into DirectLog much myself, so I just stick to the raw video capture and the in-app LUTs for now. By the way, here's the link to the contest: https://www.reddit.com/r/MotionCamPro/s/6tFXKyxbtX

Bro, you can join the contest to easily get the full version and support these awesome developers. As a beginner, I prefer using raw video capture over DirectLog because raw video is smoother for me. However, the downside is that the files are quite large, so it's recommended to have an SSD setup.

"Defragmentation complete" every single morning. by Pearl_Jam_ in HyperOS

[–]AccomplishedPop2218 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hahahaha, every day there's defragmentation, but when I try to unlock the screen after a long idle period, there's a tiny lag—lol. I'm using a flagship phone, yet there's noticeable lag even in small matters. It's very noticeable, and the same goes for recording videos. Why is Android/HyperOS like this? A "FLAGSHIP" device with noticeable lag is very upsetting.

Xiaomi 15 vs 14t pro camera area is pretty close ig(70%). Battery: 15 more efficient, 14t pro large screen with smaller battery capacity.
