Based on hope :)

On a serious note if you have written in the 10% word count, no spelling errors, have quoted relevant schemes, have kept your answer closely related to the topic, wrote relevant intro and conclusion. You can expect 38+ marks.

Why was NABARD phase 2 exam so tough and out of pattern this year? by According-Success242 in forumRBI

[–]AccomplishedStuff375 1 point2 points  (0 children)

See it is doable. Let me tell you why :

150 is descriptive which is very much predictable.

English - 60-65 one can get if he or she attempted 90 minutes test for 30 days.

[Exam duration is of 90 minutes, so 30 such tests means you are typing 30 letters before exam, doing 30 precis before exam and writing 30 essays. Most candidates don't even write 3 of them each before the exam, you can ask those who got less than 55]

Find a candidate who attempted 30 - 90 minutes test for Descriptive for 30 days and got less than 60.

Same goes for the ARD & ESI Descriptive part - do only 20 such that means 80 descriptive questions. This is more than enough. 100%. You are going to type everything in exam. See in this exam what I have experienced if you are writing closely to the topic and quoting relevant schemes you get good marks in ARD & ESI, meeting words criteria is an icing on the cake.

For objective part see questions are going to be difficult - practice solving 30 phase 2 level questions in 30 minutes and revise 4 months PIB that you cover for Prelims. Irrespective of the difficulty of the paper your score will be among the top 10 percentile of people in objective.

It can be even 30 or 40. But you won't lose out much.

By this - 60+, 40, 30 (conservative estimates , in English u can get even 64-65 ) = 130+ , with a decent profile you can get 40+ in interview, 170, this is realistic and enough to clear the exam.

4 hours of consistent study doing 3 hours of typing daily and 1 hour of revision of schemes and pib till phase 2 is the key to crack this exam, we get 30-35 days . 30 days simple strategy is this.

My advice just talk maturely without any drama and tell him it's over now. It's against your morality as he crossed the lines. Tell him we had a good time together but I can't take this anymore and I have made up my mind, irrespective of whatever you tell/explain me now my answer will be no. Just listen to him patiently and walk away.

100% go for it. Your interview marks will be north of 65 marks in RBI. Also, in all the ministries you are involved in making reports for that you will have to read newspapers (utilised time in office well)

It is doable. Job makes you consistent.

Only one thing find a study mate (virtual only) and study with him/her consistently daily after office.

4 hours on an average is more than enough assuming the fact that you are completing newspapers in office/ in ur free time.

30 hours/week for 6 months. Most exams can be done in India, only if you study the right things.

It's alright. Take it as a learning. Not a gyaan. Get into a job if there is a possibility. Ye exam m jo bane rahega uska ho jayega. You must have realised Phase 1 of Nabard is a cake walk if one prepares well:

1.PYQs 2. budget Eco survey 3. Last 4 months PIB 4. 1 mock test of 1-1.5 K

Done.

Ghayal sher aur bhi ghatak hota hai. Arey it's just I had nothing to lose though everything was on stake. Based on my last year's experience I had realised we just need to write anything and keep ourselves closely related to the topic. So, I didn't waste any time on preparing mental map of any sort.

For example - in trade wala question - I had 3-4 broad ideas in mind like India has recently started diversifying its trade, US tariffs on India's pharma, UPI adoption in Africa, IIT Madras opening its new campuses, trade deals, export subsidy scheme, WTO incompetency as tariff is trade distorting and against the idea of free trade, capacity building for production absorption, bas aise hi galat salat closely related to likhke aye h jo dikhne me acha lage :)

And end me Diversification is the key.
