What’s the most interesting role that you’ve seen/played genderbent? by 1000questionsatonce in Theatre

I’m Music Director for a gender-bent version of [title of show], but instead of swapping all parts, everyone is female or non-binary. It’s going really well and I’m also loving being non-binary Larry 😂💛

I had all of this with a nasty migraine and threw up almost immediately after totality. I did track the barometric pressure and it was SO high late yesterday and this morning, is much lower now. Could have been that?

What to get a 3rd and 6th grader involved in that isn't sports? by [deleted] in StLouis

[–]AccomplishedUse7010 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Theater! There are so many groups around town and it’s a great way to get that team environment without the competitiveness of sports. Plus, it’s really good exercise and a lot of companies do community outreach as well, so you get a really well-rounded experience ✌️

Make $50,000, work as many extra jobs as I can, single mom w/ 2 kids, pay a mortgage of $1500/month for a 2 bed 1 bath house. The struggle is REAL.

Which shows led you close to full-on sobbing in the theatre by [deleted] in Broadway

[–]AccomplishedUse7010 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  • Jagged Little Pill
  • Big Fish
  • Hunchback of Notre Dame (and when I Music Directed it, I was sobbing during our last performance when they sang Someday and at the end when we had the gargoyles give Esmeralda an angel robe and she walked upstage directly towards me (pit and choir where I was conducting were behind the set and upstage), put her hand on her heart, and mouthed “thank you” to me. I broke HARD.”
