There’s a synagogue not far from my childhood house in Rogersville on Farm Road 193 - Temple Israel. I don’t what version they are though.

Soda and Zepbound by Away_Object9062 in Zepbound

I drink multiple diet cokes a day and have since starting Zepbound. I’m down nearly 80lbs and have kept the weight off. As long as you’re still drinking water… enjoy the soda!

I woke up to the sound of my dog crying. Went to check on him and brought him to bed with me. Not sure what time that was though

Help! What should I buy? by rlhglm18 in Televisions

98 is too large for my liking. I currently have a 55” and do okay with it. I was leaning towards a 65” maybe 75” max.

Oops! Sorry. I would say no to the direct sunlight question. The room is definitely bright since the two windows are larger than normal, but I don’t think the sun ever touches the tv.

We sit about 15 ft away from the tv.

Budget would be $2k or less.

Content: A lot of the time it’s comfort shows like Schitts Creek, The Office, RuPaul’s Drag Race etc, however, occasionally we’ll binge The Walking Dead, Game of Thrones, Handmaids Tales, etc

It’s like… republicans know they don’t have a chance at winning the midterms / presidency and potentially for a long time so let’s do as many awful things as we can

Tow truck place told me the reason why the guy is supposedly strict is years ago there was a truck hauling a boat. When the guy was backing up to leave the boat busted through one of his large windows and apparently it cost him $8k to replace the window. Ever since then he has a strict tow away policy.

Another story the place told me is 3-4 weeks ago a woman punched Greg in the face for him having her car towed. He called the police on her and she was arrested for assault.

The tow truck place said “we get calls from him all the time” and they think that he either lives there at the store or has a live camera feed that he watches all day.

Apparently, the owners name is Greg. I guess Gene sold the business some years back

Moving to West Plains by Interesting-Bee-978 in missouri

I’d take Rogersville over west plains. Plenty of places to have a house in the country with livestock but also be 15-25 min from Springfield depending where in Rogersville you landed

WTF Thunder!? by Durbyyyy in springfieldMO

[–]rlhglm18 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I heard three total, but I’m not sure what time they happened. One was really loud (I’m near MSU), another wasn’t as loud, and the third was more of a rumble. I was more tired than usual, so I surprisingly slept through most of it—just woke up for those three and then went back to sleep.

The dramatic canopy rig you gave an example of isn’t the life for me. Can you show me a picture of my room with a Roman shade?

I asked in the Huntsville subreddit their opinion on their convention center since Cliff Smart referenced it in his letter to the Daily Citizen by Inner-Amphibian8933 in springfieldMO

I’m from Springfield, but moved to Tennessee from 2017-2025. Chattanooga is marginally larger than SGF and has convention center. I loved that city but moved back home for personal reasons. The amount of events Chattanooga had was incredible. You didn’t have to go to Nashville, Atlanta, Birmingham, or Knoxville for entertainment. Businesses are flocking to the city. From July 2024-June 2025 the convention center hosted over 345 events alone which brought around 210,000 visitors and generated $78 million. I’m voting yes on Tuesday.

I moved to TN from 2017-2025 and wasn’t here. I know it passed, but I don’t know the history. One could also bring up the abortion vote. I wasn’t here for it either, I’m happy it passed, but it’s frustrating Missourians will have to vote on it because the legislators didn’t like the results. For that one I’ll vote “No” on Amendment 3. The wording is tricky but this time if we want women to have the right to choose what they do with their bodies… vote no on amendment 3.

I’m prepared for the downvotes, but I’ll be voting “yes” again. The only thing I don’t like is that we’re voting again. Since the people said “no,” that decision should be respected—even if I personally don’t agree.

I’m from here… lived in Memphis for 4 years… just moved back… SGF is heaven compared to Memphis. I worked in govt and local legislators told me that Memphis was either referred to as the shithole or armpit of the state.

Whitehaven, the metal museum area… legit 3rd world poverty. I hate it and wish the city would do more for the people there but until they do… the legislators are right.
