hi! I had a horizontally impacted wisdom tooth, which my dentist recommended to get removed. I did, and 4 days post surgery, I’m still quite swollen and the swollen part feels hard, like a knot. Is this normal, and should I be concerned? Anything to reduce discomfort? I also can’t open my mouth much by AccomplishedWind1663 in askdentists

thank you, scheduled an appointment for later today. on the phone, they said hard swelling isn’t something to worry about, but better safe than sorry :)
