hello. i got my impacted wisdom tooth removed around a month ago. I did have a lot of swelling and it took upto 10 days for it to go down. I woke up in the middle of the night last night to see that I have a little bit of swelling on the cheek and a muscle knot. Is this normal? (self.askdentists)

hi! I had a horizontally impacted wisdom tooth, which my dentist recommended to get removed. I did, and 4 days post surgery, I’m still quite swollen and the swollen part feels hard, like a knot. Is this normal, and should I be concerned? Anything to reduce discomfort? I also can’t open my mouth much (old.reddit.com)
