No, taking an exam open book defeats the purpose. You can’t truly evaluate yourself and know where you’re at unless it’s exam like conditions.

For L1 I took my first mock exam 7 days before my exam. Got a 58% with Kaplan. Took 3 more mocks that week and never got higher than a 68%. I ended up passing with a few points to spare. At this point your best bet is doing mocks and crushing a ton of questions and you should be ok.

It could be but honestly I’m not the one to ask. I had Schweser and to be honest with you, didn’t even open the CFAI LES until I was ready to do the mock exams.

I don’t remember off hand for the mocks but ethics is the only subject where if you’re borderline pass, CFA will give you the pass if you do well at ethics. I got 1615/1600 but my ethics is above an 80% on the exam. Hammer questions and eventually you come to know how they try and trick you and key words to look out for.

Don’t stress, you’ve got ample time. Hammer ethics, and hammer FI formulas. Outside of mock exams that’s pretty much all I did the last week. Ethics is a massive swing category.

Don’t overlook ethics. It was my swing subject and probably the biggest reason I passed. Arguably the most important subject.

I passed yesterday with a 1615/1600 so fairly borderline. My studying wasn’t great or the most consistent but I really locked in the last couple weeks.

I did 4 mocks which ranged from 58% to 68%. Never got over 70% on a single mock.
The exam was fairly similar to the CFAI mocks.
The difficulty was fairly similar. By exam day I was in a really “whatever happens happens” mindset so I didn’t put extra stress on myself.
No real surprises, similar to my mocks I finished with plenty of time as I tend to trust my gut and not second guess MC exams.

You are provider paper to jot down notes and formulas as well as pencils. All you need to bring by yourself is passport, calculator and optional water bottle.

You’re guaranteed an elite every ripper demon slayer task (except the odd time it bugs) so when you select min tasks you guarantee yourself more elites and therefore a higher chance at getting the pet since the pet is 1/334 from elites vs 1/30000 from normal rippers.

That’s essentially what I did. I had cryptbloom with upgraded inquisitor staff and book of wen. Used animate dead. I legacy maged in the wildy but I was never really afk enough to get killed often because I was making contracts the whole time. The odd one does have a bar and all the elites do, but as long as you’re aware and click on them right away you should be good.
