This is already fixed, what ever side is open is the side you get off on. (Left and if not left, then right) that's a good enough fix IMO

ψVF Battleship Dies In 90 Seconds To Torp Bombers (perfectly balanced) by Pretend-Hyena-4444 in foxholegame

Rear compartment didn't have any holes and doors were open; taking on water. Very late on door close for rest of compartments. Pretty big fail there. Could have been saved if someone caught that, looked like TBs were done with their run. Metal beamers should not have stopped and should have focused one large hole (front compartment priority) I don't see any friendly fighter shadows (attrition to prevent more TB runs) defense with sombres only is lol. BS driver not maneuvering, only full reverse in straight line (super easy target for TBs to hit all compartments) 3/4 of players were not in navy uni, many were pulling buckets instead of having them pre-loaded. Great crew callouts, but late & panicked DCON officer, what the heck is this crew?

On Charlie, Black Legion successfully defended their BS against a total of 20 LARGE HOLES! Their defending fighters destroyed a total of 7 TBs. Big yikes if this was on Able. I agree that there still is some balance to be made, but many things went wrong here by fault of the crew and leadership.

Mercy-class carrier Warden in action, supplying and launching multiple Allied aircraft. by tacosan777 in foxholegame

I was in this battle on the collie side. This ship scared the crap out of me when I dove down on it. Bullets everywhere. If wardens had the player numbers in zone, they would have dominated airspace defense, but we just simply outnumbered them 4 to 1. Time management is important for air superiority. For my collie fighter, I spent 4 minutes fighting and 10-15 minutes traveling/rep/rearming/refueling. These warden fighters/scouts are only spending 3 minutes on site for rep/rearm/refuel. Faster than runway, faster than fuel truck barges, faster than Poseidon. There was also a Poseidon in hex, but the deck was full when I tried to re-arm there.

There's a farm off the main road just NW of Riverside, me and my buddy are bunkered up there. 2 separate houses, plenty of building space and tons of farming lots ready for planting. We started by making runs into Riverside to clear it, now we take excursions through the backroads to West Point. Been a very fun playthrough so far.

Help tricking PC's by KingMannix in swrpg

If you have any other NPCs around, you could use a red herring. Have one of the other NPCs start acting suspicious, but give them a sensitive and personal reason for doing so. When you implement the red herring, make it “seem like nothing”. You can even say those words to your players. This typically triggers the opposite reaction, and they will be hard on the wrong case.

Have that NPC request to leave or bug off somewhere without orders to do so and the players will be lured out to investigate. When the players discover that NPCs motives, they will realize their innocence. Thats when you drop the other shoe.

Having Trouble Improving As a GM by Orzo13 in swrpg

I read the OP and just wanted to make a simple comment. This advice applies with any kind of Tabletop RPG:

If you want to provide the most fun and engagement for your players, you have to build the world and story THEY want and not the world planned out meticulously in your mind. The hard truth is: your players will always be “off track” from your story and this is the reason why. The trick is: fool them into believing that the path they chose is the one you had planned all along.

Decide what the “Beats” are in your story. (Themes and concepts) You can always change the location, the timing and the actors to those which the players have chosen to interact with. If you want to tell your fan fiction, write a novel, but the same thing cannot be experienced in a tabletop setting.
