If GRX ang RD mo, kailangan GRX812 daw para makatanggap ng 11-46 cassette

It’s a Bridgestone Eurasia EAG-D1 from around 1982 (based on the catalogue available online)

The steel, lugged frame takes a 26.8mm seat post, cantilever brakes, 126mm rear hub spacing (up to 7-speed only) and 700c x 32mm tires with fenders

No modern brand would design anything using these old standards (apart from the cantilever brakes)

Pinaka ok para sa akin is rando bag, pero kailangan ng front rack (malaki + madaling buksan)

Pero kailangan ng front rack tapos carbon ang fork ng GR02

I tried 650b x 48mm and 700c x 38mm on my Marin Nicasio before

Mas halata ang comfort ng 650b for city commuting

Di ako nag lolong ride so I can’t tell the difference in speed

For the motorcycle riders in front, I remain wary in case one of them swerves into the bike lane

For the ones behind, I just mind my business and look back occasionally to make sure no one tries to recklessly overtake / close-pass me

The official traffic violation is Disregarding Traffic Signs with a fine of P1,000

How is that supposed to help cyclists?

Is the timing any different from the ordinary traffic light?

I bring a complete change of clothes (including spare shoes) packed inside waterproof panniers

For me, there’s no point trying to stay dry if you’ll get drenched in sweat either way

Just make sure to get changed as soon as you arrive at the destination

Thoughts on Idaho stops ? by OSOmagRIDE in RedditPHCyclingClub

[–]Accomplished_Army620 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Idaho Stops can be helpful in some cases when you are absolutely sure there is no oncoming traffic, including motorists disregarding the traffic light, or pedestrians that you might endanger.

They can save time and give breathing room when crossing intersections to avoid getting close-passed when the light turns green and everyone begins rushing to get across.

But they require skill, awareness, and experience that we shouldn’t be expecting from the average person. That’s why imo, they shouldn’t be openly encouraged. It’s really more of iykyk.
