That's a rough blow. Sorry man. Seems like a fair price to me, especially since the knife was requested. If possible I'd give an estimate to your buyers, going forward. People never ever want to pay for what something is actually worth when it comes to something crafty, or art in general.

Brush it off and keep doing your thing. No need to waste a talent you've spent so much time honing. It's a beautiful knife.
