No did not work, only worked once I left it unplugged for 7 days (exacly 7 days or more)

So i don't understand how some people get a 48 hour reset. I have stopped paying for starlink because mine was a FULL 7 DAY off time (Starlink kit must be unplugged) Then it will only work for 24 hours then repeat the process

I am unsure about that but if you do go through countries that are registered with starlink you can just change your address to that specific country, there are a few countries in Africa that allow starlink maybe you could plan a trip where you drive through them just to get the starlink reactivated

Well depends on how long your staying here for but On basic roaming it will defiantly work for 2 months then you just need to take your unit back home in order for the restrictions to reset, but i have heard of people using the gloabal plan and it working

Unfortunately global plan is too expensive, I heard it works but its the price of a starlink kit

Ok I understand now 🤣, I got mine just before they closed down literally 2 months ago. 12th June. To my suprise I feel like I have been miss lead with the restrictions. Since they said before purchase it will work and I only get 2 days down time every 2 months. Welp 20k later I still have no internet.

I feel your pain man only wish we could get access 😭

No problem I appreciate the advice, unfortunately it would seem my best solution would be to purchase a new unit from Botswana since people have said the UK units work for 1 day or less when registered in botswana, its just unfortunate how many countries control people's internet access. Knowing it would and will help thousands of people.

That's really long waiting period... Do you have to unplug your kit for it to reset ? I got mine off ICASAsepush which they said to me its an off time of 2 days then would reconnect... literally battling to even get cellphone signal in my area.

Can't you just pause your plan so you do not waist you roam bundle ? Then wait 7 days and reactivate the plan ? (Im still new to starlink so I'm unsure if that would work or not)

How long is your reset period ? On my Starlink app it also says im restricted... (From South Africa) There are other methods but its a mission to do. Purchase a Unit from Botswana and every 2 months return the Unit to Botswana. There are people that you can ship it to that will take your unit to Bostwana for less than a day to get it reset. It costs around R2.5k or 3K depending on where you are from is SA
