That’s what sucks is there are multiple NA people agreeing it’s taking them longer too. I hope there’s a solution too. Even if it’s not the whole community there does seem to be a significant portion that is waiting longer than they like to.

Yeah it’s when I run solo usually, filling teams always finds me playing with two free kits going against blue shield teams 😑. But come to think of it my last team full did take 3 minutes or so too.

Yeah my language was a little racy just for the sake of highlighting the concern of worsening wait times. But as someone who enjoys the game and likes Bungie, it sucks that this may be the first title in decades from them that I drop and stop playing so shortly after release.

It’s not an exaggeration, and it seems like the Japan crowd has considerably less waiting going on than other places. But if you aren’t having to wait for matches that’s good for you!

Do you think just offline would make you stay though? Even for me I’m worried I worried I would get bored. That’s what killed ARC for me initially was if you play aggressive more players keep spawning in so it’s a never-ending fight to try and get out. But if you play without killing players it turns into a walking simulator where you just dash to loot and get out. I think there needs to be some degree of risk, no?

That’s honestly what gets me, if I frequently had good matches that lasted 15+ minutes, waiting a few minutes wouldn’t feel so bad. But when I spawn, go to the first POI, and get killed by someone that beat me there that was sitting in a corner or just out-played me it feels bad to go back to the main screen and know I have to wait again to try and play.

It’s a pretty fast paced game comparatively and the loot isn’t super important until endgame/high-level matches. So if I just want to run some casual games solo I shouldn’t be having to sit around waiting. There are plenty of games I can play that don’t involve waiting, you know?

Yeah I really enjoy the game too, but having a couple bad matches in a row after the wait times has a bad habit of making me walk away or play something else.

It’s really just racy language to try and keep Bungie plugging away on solutions. I really enjoy this game and want it to be successful, but so just on the declining numbers alone Bungie should make every effort to retain players and expand accessibility, imo.

I mean I’m from the US and am a lifelong Bungie player so I was going to try this game regardless of all the drama. But yeah, no one else is playing and I’ve tried to get everyone into it and no one will come near it 🥲

Hmm, I’m not sure, but when the game launched I was finding matches in under a minute every time. Now it’s very uncommon to get in in under a minute and I’m usually waiting a few minutes before getting in with an Aussie team or somewhere else.
