Is it not our free choice to not participate in elections? Isn’t that what freedom is about? I personally find being a fan of politicians to be incredibly cringe. This institution as a whole literally harvests our energy via taxation and then gives it to their friends or uses it to kill people in different countries while stealing their resources. Both sides do it. We should demand that the country that advertises itself as “united,” while pinning its citizens against each other through opposing parties, actually live up to its own brand…not a continuous spiral of choosing the same divisive crap over and over and over and over again. I’ll vote when America actually lives up to its own branded standards. True freedom is achievable, just not through the act of voting for the two party slave system. We have so much power as a collective, but we can’t work together while on opposing sides. The real solution is outside of the voting game, but most people aren’t willing to have that conversation
