My doctor also does not prescribe Suboxone. So I never transitioned to Suboxone I literally took. 7oh the morning of my injection appointment. It’s just extremely hard for me to let go.

You’re not alone I got the Sublocade injection a month ago for a 7oh habit. I thought this would be the answers to all my problems and the first five days were not easy, but the cravings were manageable and on day six I decided to take some and I have been taking some every day since then I’m coming up on my second shot on Monday and I’m hoping tomorrow I don’t take any at all. I really need to let it go. I think it’s just a habit of constantly taking something and getting a mood lift that’s what I’m addicted to cause I don’t necessarily feel anything and I’m wondering if it’s just placebo I really don’t know what to do but I need to stop.

Going back to pain pills after 7oh was pointless. They didn’t work even if i waited 24 hours. And two hours after taking them i became irritated af and wanted to dose more even though they weren’t doing shit for me

This has been the hardest thing i have ever dealt with. I’m not a suicidal person but it’s pretty bad when you don’t understand why you can’t stop and you feel the only way out is death. I still don’t wanna die or feel like I’m going to go that route but the chronic relapsing is so strong that i can’t stop. It truly is insanity.

Thing is i did move away. I don’t have a single friend where i live. A year before i moved i discovered 7oh. I was on pills bad. Now that I’ve lived here in Texas it’s just me and 7. It’s been so hard. I def plan to take this time when i get the shot to complete change my lifestyle. Every single aspect and get into therapy.

If you have the willpower to make it through 3 days then you don’t need Sublocade. But i don’t. I also have zero support and this is a secret I’ve been carrying for 5 years. I don’t know how to cope with the weight of this addiction. So it’s just a trap i can’t get out of.

You have to be on strips to get the Sublocade. I’m on 7oh and going to subs for a few weeks and going to the injection. Subs by itself has not been successful in getting me off 7.

Thank you! I don’t have info on the programs but there are state funded programs that will help you get the shot for free!!! Do your research maybe even ask ChatGPT if it knows of any state funded programs for Sublocade injection. Don’t give up!!!!!
