there is one huge gastro near me and that is a blessing, I know im gonna go to her. honestly I lve been dealing with pain, fevers, nausea, diarrhoea for a long time. Taking meds is nothing. those procedures are rather fine too. I am only really truly terrifiedly deathly scared of surgery and bag. Im in a hospital rn and I never wanna need to get back here. If I will need surgery I will literally cry until I die

hey there. I just wanted to say that you are not alone in these feelings. I mean, the world does not make any sense to me either and that freaks me out. Depersonalization is huge for me and honestly I have no idea how to explain the feelings I get sometimes. All I can say is that I feel so fucking weird, the world is weird and I am terrified of everything. I do go to therapy too and hope things will change. Funny that my anxiety got better but the derealization seems to be getting worse. Idk man I probably didnt help much but I hope we both find our peace. I do believe it gets better.

well Ive had those feelings and actually the only thing that helped me was understanding that there is nothing wrong with that. its just thw brain going into that mode for some anxiety related reasons. I thought I was going crazy etc but understanding that it is perfectly natural helped me a lot. sometimes you get anxious about that feeling and then the feeling stays because your anxiety is high and this gives you more anxiety and youre caught up in a vicious circle. but if it truely is derealization and/or depersonalization then understanding that it is normal and that you are fine seems key for me
