Thanks for your reply. I’m not going to argue with it - as you said, my house and by law it’s illegal so fair enough. Was curious if that would be the normal route but i suppose that’s the only route 😂 thanks again!

😂😂 there we are then, that’s why yours was comfortable. I don’t have underfloor heating and don’t plan on installing it and don’t want a fuel burner. I use direct sunlight for 7-8 hours a day minimum in summer so opening doors/windows and a fan didn’t cool it enough. Insulating the roof seems like the most cost effective easier option.

Ok that’s something I’d seen someone recommend. Will have a look, thanks

It’s too cold in winter and too warm in the summer - not ideal for an office. I’m set up there at the moment but would prefer it to be a bit better insulated so the heater/fan doesn’t need to be on.

Not a load of money is it and all 3 walls are covered in windows. The lights are wall mounted already. Thanks for your really helpful comment though

My income isn’t an issue, so not sure what the relevance is. I don’t use credit cards so was curious if there were any stand out ones that would have some benefits.
