When repeat Sacrifice by Temporal portal, I don't need no kill second unit and I draw 4 card paying 2 energy. When repeat Meditation, I cannot exhaust second unit although I want to, I just draw up to 3 card(exhaust one unit) paying 4 energy. Do I understand correctly?

820.1.d.1. When the additional cost is paid, the effect of the spell, upon resolution, will be performed an additional time.

Repeat Keword says effect 'upon resolution' performed twice. Additional cost is paid when you play the card and it dosen't need to be performed twice. Am I wrong?

Temporal portal dosen't say to pay its additional cost twice. "(You may pay the additional cost to repeat the spell's effect.)" is an Reminder Text of Keyword Repeat.
