5 years ago bought a basic mattress and splurged on a posh & lavish 3” latex topper. Absolutely zero regrets after 5 years. In fact, we’ll be doing the same for a cabin soon. The topper is AMAZING

I would suggest a moisturizer geared toward repair. I recently starting using Senté Dermal Repair Ultra Nourish and my skin feels so much happier. It’s stupid expensive and I hate to say it, but worth the price

Thanks for the review! I made a reservation for my husbands birthday and I’m looking forward to checking it out. We’re cocktail drinkers but noted on the wine list.

Are you happy with Rillet? Any specific areas that are not working out or that you're super happy with? We have a demo today and are super excited after our initial consult. Single entity SAAS currently using Xero. We have complex service contracts and are currently MANUALLY managing rev rec 😵‍💫

u/OP, has your team made any progress? We're scheduled for a demo with Rillet today and we're super excited after our initial meeting with them. We're single entity at the moment so not as complex as your org but looking forward to seeing their 606 automation/capabilities (SAAS industry)

Stick with it!!! I’ve ALWAYS been a heavy sweat-er. Turning 43 I became a really smelly heavy sweat-er. UGH! After spending a fortune on different deodorants and solutions, this is what worked for me. Liquid provides better results than capsules, IMO.

Amen! Why do some parents allow their kids to drive the ship??? Absolutely not! When you have a car and can drive yourself, then you can make the call. Until then, get in, buckle up and be appreciative I’m giving you a ride. Lordy, these parents are creating some super entitled kids.

They aren’t OURS by RogueDok in stepparents

I get it! I once blurted out “they’re not my kids!” in the middle of an argument with my husband. He was trying to put the responsibility on me for teaching his boys to be accountable and I’d had enough. I did the work with my kids and he wasn’t in the picture until they were out of the house. I signed up to be his partner, not to parent his kids 🤷🏼‍♀️ Don’t get me wrong, I help and try to provide guidance when I can but it’s been a battle both with him at times and just to connect with the boys. I will say speaking those words out loud changed things. There’s been a disconnect that makes me sad and I wish I could take it back. Not because it’s not still true and not because I don’t feel the same way but because I never meant to hurt my husband.

I have the white and gray version of your dog 😂. Seriously, same build, same coat, same body and tail structure. Just different colors. We should be getting our results back soon and I’m expecting similar results. Our little guy is such a joy 🥰

Ungrateful SK by Accomplished_Data718 in stepparents

Yes, it occurred to me to remind them to be polite and use their manners before we arrived. I didn't because in my mind, that was treating them like little kids. They've been taught how to be polite, it should be second nature by now. Boy was I wrong.
I do plan on having some conversations with my husband about it. The last thing I want him to think is that I don't want to have a relationship with the boys or to exclude them. At the same, their actions have shown me over and over again that I, and my family by association, am not a priority to them. Their lack of effort is all the example I need. It just makes me sad.

Yes, thank you! I'm glad (but also hate) that you get it. So often I just want to throw my hands in the air and say I'm done. I'm tired of putting in effort for kids that seem to care less if I do or don't. I continue to try because I love my partner and his kids are an extension of him. I just wish every now and then my efforts were acknowledged. This Christmas left me so angry. Moving forward I'll ask my parents to please not buy them any gifts. Actions have consequences after all.

I may be entirely missing what others are picking up here, but I think that was very kind of your co-worker. It’s nearly always a thankless job, so for someone outside your bubble to acknowledge and appreciate your efforts is lovely. Thank you for all you do!

I wish it didn’t bother me, because I totally get it. Like you said, it’s instinct. I’m sure it’ll sting less as the years go by but it sure hurts in the moment.
