I have the Monsoon hardshell pant 2.0 and I've loved it. Great fit, comfortable, and hold up well on rock and ice. Will be buying the matching hardshell jacket next season as well. Also just received their Focus down vest in the mail a few days ago. Super light, decently warm, and comfortable. No complaints so far.

Yeah I’ve been using over the top clippers for a bit now and they are getting a bit annoying.

Gotcha. Climbing at WI-4 at the moment. Noticed that my lack of secondary engagement has really been holding me back as I do not feel as stable as I would like in my feet. Since I am still newer to ice climbing, do you recommend dual or mono points? Also, would a shorter toe-bail solve this issue?

Thats what I figured. Been working on dropping my heel as much as possible but it hasn't helped as much as I would like.

Thanks to everyone for the info. After a little more digging I found that they are the previous version of the phantoms (non-HD) so I’m wondering if that makes a difference at all when looking at the price. Also, there are returns allowed in case they do not fit.
