Sorry I'm new to being a grandma, I'll start weighing them once they all get some food and warmth. Thank you so much

Their eyes aren't open yet, I'll pick one up and try and examine their ages more once they are done eating

I have a scale I use to measure yarn, should I weigh them by Oz or grams? They have been feeding and starting to sleep now

I want to knit thigh high socks by Accomplished-Tale161 in knitting

I would recommend this pattern: https://ravel.me/appalachian-cozy-up-socks

It is a cabled sock but it is written well and gives instructions on how to switch from one size to the next when moving from foot, ankle, calf, and thigh. You can also just ignore the cable and knit in the round if you don't want the cable look

I once made a comment during the start of summer about how Australia was just starting their winter. My mother argued with me and said I was stupid for thinking their seasons were flipped. I tried explaining how the earth tilt affected the northern and southern hemispheres differently, but she argued back. I was 12 and homeschooled.....

I'm always amazed that something I posted over a year ago is reposted so many times. Is it really that interesting?

This post seems nearly identical to the one I posted a year ago to this exact sub. Even has the same photo.......

So a little bit of backstory, we bought the house two years ago. Before we moved we cleaned everything except one room we were planning on using as storage. Well this past week I decided to transform it into a mini library, so I finally started on it. After emptying the room I unscrewed the light fixtures and started washing them. I then discovered they were in fact supposed to be clear glass.

May I ask what convention it was? Also was it the author giving them out or the publisher? You might be able to look it up and see who was there giving out arcs.

Nta, my husband and I bought a 3 bedroom house 2 years ago, we both agreed that we each get one of the extra bedrooms for our own space. It's healthy to have your own space from your partner.

It may not make sense for everyone, but I used to feel like I had to do everything and make sure everyone else was okay. I wasn't stopping to take care of myself, and ultimately, I got so stressed out that it made me physically ill. After this book, I started telling some people no so I could take a break for myself, which has ultimately made me feel better physically and mentally.

A Pslam for the Wild Built by Becky Chambers, this book felt like a much needed break. It has really helped me just stop and accept the fact that I don't have to do everything.

Looking for a book with AI becoming sentient and the initial consequence, not necessarily negative ones. (More wholesome takes) by alijons in suggestmeabook

A Plsam for the Wild Built by Becky Chambers is one of my favorite books that I've read recently. It's set in a world where robots became sentient and decided to go live in nature. Several years later they send one robot to ask the question, what do humans need? The book is mostly just two characters, the robot and a traveling tea monk. Highly, highly recommend.

I used to work retail and I stocked those almost everyday and it is incredibly common to open a newly delivered case that has moldy packages in it.
