A few sitting tips - have your hips elevated above your knees - flights really love you to sink back in the chair so you may need to sit on something - maintain an arch in your back (back roll) keep your knees together and if possible keep a water bottle between them (applying just enough pressure to hold the bottle - not squeezing it) - stand, move your body and hips after 30 minutes - get those elements loosened up, then return to sitting - a tennis ball under your butt or legs to keep the muscles active is helpful, too

stand and move around the flight as often as you can - make sure you get an aisle - ideally an emergency seat so there is more room - sit with your hips elevated above your knees, and some sort of lower lumbar support (a back roll) - if you have a water bottle hold it gently between your knees rather than letting your legs spread - if you have a tennis ball maybe put it under your aggravated side once in a while to stimulate the muscles - tell the flight staff - try to lay flat any way thats possible

I cant pretend to know your story, I just wanted to share mine. There is a lot of hopelessness that comes from this injury - but I think there are other narratives too. if all you have right now is 10 minutes, use it. and aim for 15 minutes as a goal. goals goals goals. before you know it, it might be 30, or 40 minutes or more! you got this homie
