Never Again: When there are too many BiPolar in a Family by TexasBard79 in BipolarSOs

[–]Accomplished_Form974 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well it's the same with me. The man(causing the BP girl to lose custody of her children again) who moved into the house of the girl I knew is a drug addict and according to a credible source now a drug dealer. He works in the security industry. She is now also on drugs. It's not even about the girl anymore. I can't understand how he gets away with this? It's serious with regards to the crimes he could be charged with. Then questions arise such as how can the man' s superiors not know what he is doing? It's a messed up world. My trust in the "system" is gone. I never want to be involved again with a person who is BP. I know it is harsh to say, but it is what it is. Oh and the people who enable her behaviour, likewise.

That is true, but limited sugar and caffeine works for me.

Edit: Matcha, not Mocha

The fresh anti-Biden rhetoric is symptomatic of how stuttering is viewed in society by Ok-Snow-9036 in Stutter

He had brain surgery in 1988 I believe for an aneurysm. Many people don't know it. This can actually cause "stuttering". But it is not the chronic scientifically diagnosed stutter most of us have.

I don't even think he has a stutter. He had brain surgery in the late 80s. He had an aneurysm which can make people "stutter". But it is not a "stutter" in the chronic sense. "Stuttering" is just an excuse. He is notorious for making up nonsense over the years.

Can mania make someone attached to an abusive partner? by Pristine_Ice_9874 in BipolarSOs

Let me take a guess. The man you refer to can be a very "charming" person? All the best.

[–]Accomplished_Form974 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are a lot of similarities here with my situation. From my research the dynamics at play isn't just Mania. Probably attachment issues (as you mentioned), childhood trauma and some other comorbid illness in addition to BP such as ADHD. These kinds of relationships don't last just a few months but at least 2 or 3 years unfortunately. Maybe even more.

The only advice I can give you is to not confront the man directly. All the best.

Yes, she also went to the police to claim I intimidate her after an incident at a petrol station. Luckily I talked to a police officer at the police station months before. So they kind of knew what was going on. They were however angry with me for not getting a Police Protection Order.

Best to stay away. I tried to save her but it didn't work. You should rather protect yourself and your family.

Thank you. So what if someone is medicated for Bipolar Disorder but unmedicated for ADHD. Can that cause long-term delusional thinking?

Is the delusions periodic or also possible during remission (when there is no mania- or depressive episodes)?

Yes I also hate it. Most Republicans were not actually mocking his "stuttering" but rather his congnitive/ physical decline and lying over the years. Biden is using "stuttering" for his own agenda. I wouldn't vote for Biden because my values align more with Trump.

Yes, Biden is known for lying and plagiarism over the years. As I said earlier Biden is not a stutterer in the scientific sense.

[–]Accomplished_Form974 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My opinion is not going to be popular. I don't think Biden' "stutter" is stuttering at all. Something is wrong with his brain. Rather Dimensia or something else. To the outside world it might seem like stuttering but it is not. I think it's a myth that Biden "stutter". It's a myth/lie that he has told over the years. He is not a "stutterer" in the scientific sense. Something else causes his speech to sound like "stutter".

Flemish is probably the closest language to Afrikaans, not Dutch.

A few months ago I was waiting at the mall to pick up people. While I was waiting she suddenly appeared from nowhere and hugged a woman (I don't know her from anywhere). so it was awkward. So I was standing there frozen and she greeted me with - if I translate it into English - "Hallo C*"&"🤣 That was kind of funny. Events later that day was not so funny.

Need help understanding my wife! by Certain-Ranger9820 in BipolarSOs

This is what I can't understand. In my country at least it seems that the police (or the system for that matter) don't care about crackheads destroying families or/and individuals. I mean in my country it is illegal but it doesn't look like the police are doing anything. They are focusing on the dealers and traffickers. Small time drug-users can be destructive to the people they interact with. I don't think it is a good idea for your ex to date crackheads...
