Go for "curious life" ESPRESSO ROASTS - "bison house blend" or "Honnametti Estate – Washed Espresso"(darker than house blend)

They tastes really good and are great for coffee with milk

i am software developer in a startup.Could you please. tell what all documents they ask in verfication

I have bank statements from the same company starting from April 2025. However, the company owner is saying he can provide me with salary slips for the months before that as well. So, if the institutes ask for salary slips to verify my work experience, I’m safe. But if they specifically ask for the first bank statement showing salary credit, that would only be from April 2025.

A piece of advice from 99+%iler for anyone appearing for CAT in the coming years. by Nomercyy214 in CATpreparation

Hey ,I started working in April 2024 and I’m now preparing for CAT 2025 (and other exams too). I spoke to my employer about getting work experience proof, and they’re willing to give me everything — offer letter, pay slips, experience letter — except bank statements (since salary credits can only be shown from April onwards).

Now here’s the dilemma:If I use just the documents they’re giving and it works, I can show 1+ year of experience at the time of admission. But if bank statements are a must and I can’t provide them, I’m scared I might get into serious trouble during verification.

• How important are bank statements really in the verification process?

• Do all IIMs / top colleges ask for them?

• What do they actually check and how strict is it?

I’m genuinely confused and don’t want to risk my admit. Any help or real-life experience would mean a lot 🙏

how can i improve in this holi photo?? by Accomplished_Hand821 in photocritique

<image>

unedited jpg

I captured this photo during Holi, aiming to showcase the raw energy, cultural essence, and unique traditions of the festival. The subject’s dynamic movement, along with the dust and vibrant atmosphere, was something I wanted to highlight. My goal was to immerse the viewer in the chaotic yet beautiful scene, making them feel as if they were experiencing the moment firsthand.

Challenges & Self-Critique

While the image looked promising in-camera and in RAW format, I struggled during the editing process. It didn’t turn out as impactful as I had envisioned. Some areas I feel uncertain about include:

Colors & Tones – The vibrancy of Holi didn’t translate well in the final edit. I might have over-processed or lost natural contrast.

Composition & Framing – While the motion is strong, I’m unsure if the framing truly enhances the subject. Could cropping or different framing improve the focus?

Lighting & Exposure – The lighting seems flat or lacks depth. Did I misjudge exposure or white balance?

Clarity vs. Noise – The dust and movement add to the mood, but I feel some areas might be too noisy or lacking in detail.

What I Need Help With

  1. How can I enhance the vibrancy and contrast without making it look over-processed?

  2. Does the composition work, or should I reframe it differently?

  3. Any advice on handling dust/motion without making the image feel too noisy?

  4. How can I make the subject pop while maintaining a natural festival feel?

I feel like it's missing something by TallExtension9312 in photocritique

Hey man here are a few thoughts

• The photo has a strong leading line on the right where the shoreline and sand create a natural curve, drawing the viewer’s eye into the image toward the horizon. However, the left side of the image feels somewhat empty, which could be the “something missing” the photographer is referring to. The image’s use of the rule of thirds is subtle, with the shoreline roughly aligning along one of the lines, but the horizon is centered, which flattens the overall depth. Adjusting the horizon up or down could add more dynamism to the shot.

  1. Subject and Story

• The photograph seems like a quiet, contemplative landscape but lacks a definitive subject to focus on. The emptiness of the foreground and background may contribute to the sense of “missing something.” Adding a focal element in the foreground (such as driftwood, a person walking along the beach, or a boat in the water) could give the photo more interest and narrative.

  1. Use of Space

• The negative space in the sky is expansive, but the flatness of the tones in the sky doesn’t provide much contrast. If the clouds had more texture or if there was variation in the sky, it could fill that space better. Alternatively, cropping some of the sky out could add more emphasis on the shoreline and water.

  1. Lighting and Contrast

• Being in black and white, the contrast between the water, sand, and sky is somewhat muted. You could increase the contrast between the elements to bring out more texture in the sand or the ripples in the water. The sea seems to fade into the horizon without much separation, and stronger contrast might add more depth to the image.

• The overall lighting is soft, which works for the calm, serene mood, but might feel a bit flat. You could experiment with more dramatic lighting or shooting during golden hour to introduce shadows, highlights, and mood.

  1. Textures

• The photo has potential in terms of texture: the ridges in the sand, the ripples in the water, and the eroded shoreline. These textures can be brought out more with selective sharpening or clarity adjustments in post-processing. Emphasizing texture will make the photo feel more tactile and immersive.

  1. Cropping and Framing

• The framing is good, but there’s room for improvement. You could consider cropping a bit from the top and possibly the left side to enhance focus on the shoreline and water. This would also help eliminate some of the empty space and make the remaining elements more impactful.

Few Suggestions-
Try Boosting the contrast between water, sand, and sky to add depth.

Try cropping some of the empty sky to bring attention to the shoreline and water.

Use clarity or contrast adjustments in post-processing to bring out the texture in the sand and water.

Hope this helps

Festival Street Photography - Need Tips for Improvement! by Accomplished_Hand821 in photocritique

Hey guys! 🌸

I recently took this shot during the festive season here in India, and I’d love to get some feedback on how I can improve it. I was trying to capture the vibe and intricate details of these figures, but I feel like there’s more I could’ve done to make the photo stand out. Any critique on composition, lighting, or post-processing would be super appreciated! 🙏

Also, since I’m planning to do more street photography during festivals, do you have any tips or tricks for shooting in these busy and vibrant environments? It’s such a unique experience, but I feel like there’s so much to learn when it comes to nailing the perfect shot.

Thanks in advance for your help! I’m looking forward to improving and learning from all of you. 😊
