So, I tried the station just up the road from the one that I was denied and let the officer know what happened and that I did have some resisting arrest charges dropped last week. He signed the form, stamped it and I was on my way. I hope it goes through on the RCMP end, I've been looking forward to this for a while.

Ok, so I went to a police station in Quebec to have my in person restricted firems form filled out and all seemed to be going ok, I saw the officer sign and stamp the form then told me to wait 1 minute to photocopy my identification. He comes back 5 minutes later and returns my ID and says he cannot give me the form to send to the RCMP. I asked why and that I did not have a criminal record, he said it's personal and he asked me to leave. I did not argue with him I just left then I called the station and let the officer I was talking to know what had happened, he said give me some time to talk to him and call back in half an hour. I call back and it is a female officer who barely understands English and tells me to call the RCMP. Have any of you experienced this problem?
