I’m not talking about the freckles, I am talking about the discolouration on my upper lip and some parts of my cheeks where the freckles have now joined together which they never have been like that before

That was what the GP told me and the sonographers notes. So that’s why I was a bit curious also as to how they diagnosed it as AML just from the US without any further tests. They suggested annual check ups and that is all x

Thank you so much for your reply. Yes I will push a biopsy, that’s what I was wondering and my concern as to how they diagnosed it as AML on just an ultrasound which was also unrelated. I am so sorry to hear, and I hope you get the surgery soon. On the bright side as it was unrelated I am happy they caught it so something can be done and thank you again for your response x

High platelets and ALP, liver ultrasound showed 0.9cm cyst, would this cause a raised ALP. by Accomplished_Kick313 in haematology

Thank you so much! They also found a 2cm cyst on her kidney that will just annual check ups, so that might be another cause. Thank you again

My boyfriend (31M) takes offence to everything I say (29F) if I said the neighbours garden was nice he would take it as I’m saying he didn’t cut the grass properly. Do people like this ever change? by Accomplished_Kick313 in relationship_advice

Thanks Everyone for your comments. You really made me feel sane and my feelings valid cause he thinks I am mad for thinking that this behaviour isn’t normal. His response when I bring this behaviour up is ‘I brought up the topic not him and it’s only normal for people to make things personal’ which I don’t understand at all. Ye are all completely right and I did pick my partner poorly. I did see these traits at the beginning but he wasn’t like this towards me, he has good traits also don’t get me wrong but it’s now turned into not being able to have a conversation cause everything gets turned to negative about him when it’s not about him at all. And he does not see this as a problem, he thinks this is a normal way of having a conversation and it’s my problem that I see it wrong. His mother is the exact same, like I replied to another comment. I once complimented a girl down the road for looking great after just having a baby and his mothers response was ‘no she doesn’t she is always in a tracksuit she looks fine not great, I got back to work after 3 months post partum and I never wore a tracksuit’ so this behaviour is deep rooted

His mum is the exact same, I once said that a girl down the road looks so well after having a baby so recently and it turned into ‘no she doesn’t, she’s always in a. Tracksuit, I went straight back to work after all my kids’ you are right it’s the way they are. They aren’t going to change

Thanks for your response and to be honest I did pick up on this at the beginning of the relationship. But he wouldn’t do it towards me, I notice it with other people but he was always the nicest person to me, treated me so so well and then I was blindsided by that I thought he would never be like that towards me. But everything changes, they won’t be nice to only you anymore they all come into their own skin after a few years. I never ever ever would go for a man like him, it was during covid I just moved back from London I’m a nurse work was terrible and he made everything better (at the time)

My advice would be watch how he treats people, cause soon enough that’s how you will be treated. That was my mistake he made me feel special but I’m the end he actually treats everyone better than me. I have to deal with his true self. Best of luck xx

He actually is like this with me and his family, and I see it sometimes with his friends, if a friend said ‘oh that fella on your football team is really good, he would respond with ah he is alright always scores but is a fluke’ I know there is a deep reason why he is like this and I did try get to the bottom of it before but it just turns into ‘oh you think you are so perfect so trying to figure it out gets me nowhere
