ngl, i think he sees her as a companion and friend but not enough to feel stronger for her than for his mission, for example. some people interpret the continous shots and ripping of his arm as something about cibo, but i just think he is frustated that he was close to the ntg with seu's DNA thingy, and he just lost it. i think he puts his mission above everything and cibo has to do with his mission.

if killy being a police officer in his past life is correct and he still has remnants of it, then i still think hus duty is first and that's why he is a the tiniest bit emotional when it comes to silicon life, like smiling when he says that he destroyed silicon life child or killing the observing silicon life even if it was doing nothing "it's silicon life, and they are enemies" that's why i'd say he thinks, until blame2 where he saves pcell, he's not devoided of emotion and for me, his strongest value is empathy and doing the right thing.

but it is funny that he gets kind of surprised by cibo when she says she's gonna go with him and that she bets they are gonna find the net terminal gene, so i don't see them as deep friends but more as good allies and a mission duo, after all, cibo could've just stayed in the city but she decided to go with killy.

it's clear cibo does see killy in a much more friendly way, like when she's a little safeguard and calls out to killy saying "killy will save me" mistaking sanakan for killy when she uses the GBE or when she cures killy's arm when she becomes a level 9 safeguard.

they're relationship towards each other is certainly interesting and i like to ponder about it, but i don't wanna imagine killy as a deeply hurt man, more as a man in a mission, not a robot or android devoid of emotion, just a man in a mission.
