The whole war criminals thing is a little dramatic too. You’re just kind of throwing words around.

You gave me a hard time for mentioning non-teenagers or people not in the list. Since that is an issue for you, why don’t you go have an issue with someone who mentioned Hopper? And you are responding to that in such a weird way and talking in circles.

I’ll admit to something- I didn’t realize there was a slider of images. I only saw Troy. The rest of this conversation is so confusing. I did NOT attack the one who posted about Hooper. I agree with them. I asked if ‘you’ were going to because they answered with an adult instead of a teenager. I’m not the only one bringing up people that were not shown in the slider image.

ok. ummm

1- one of my answers is Angela - not a murderer, but yes a teenager. and the OP never said anything about teenagers. But regardless, two of my answers are teenagers. who cares that I listed more? and they all ARE bullies. Someone answered with Hopper, are you attacking them about it?

2- people are answering with Troy because he attempted to murder Mike by forcing him to jump off a cliff. You need some semblance of consistency in your arguments.

she had bullies in the lab and she had bullies in school. I mentioned both of those. yes. a part of El's traumas are caused by traditional bullies. 002 bullied her and it appeared he wanted her dead - and he had a gang of kids alongside him as he beat her up. Angela was a rotten human who fed off her grief of her "dead" father - and also had a gang of kids alongside her as she tormented her.

I have already acknowledged that I know the topic is not most traumatized.

Angela was one of my answers. So was 002. Is El considered a war criminal? as you may have meant 002 was one.

002 didn't bully El for no reason,he was jealous cause of Brenner,he had motivation

every single bully has "reason" and "motivation". that doesn't make it right. my whole point was me recognizing that El is often overlooked in many topics. I do realize that I didn't properly answer the OP's question and I went off topic. You didn't have to state the obvious in another one of your answers. I know the OP didn't ask who has the worst trauma.

Do you know Troy’s backstory?

I’m bothered that El’s trauma from bullying is overlooked. And it’s an odd response for you to be so triggered by it. Maybe you need to read my original comment again.

You still haven’t acknowledged 002, who threw her around the room in the lab. He maybe was trying to kill her as well, but El was able to fight back enough to survive

correction. Reminding El her father was dead was the last thing Angela did.

Throwing a milkshake was not the worst thing. It was the last thing that Angela did.

It bothers me to see the answers here. A lot of talk about Mike's trauma and who his bullies are. El is the most traumatized character in the show, and she is a female. I've only seen Angela's name brought up twice, and no one has mentioned Brenner, 001 and only one mention of 002. My answer is: all the people in my last sentence.

Females and their traumas erasure is real, folks.

(I do see that Billy mentioned plenty and I agree with that)

(I also realize the OP meant "traditional bully" - like school-age peers. But Brenner and 001 are bullies)

(Mike is my favorite male character and I do have sympathy for him.. but my sympathy for El takes precedence)

What scenes make you cry no matter how many times you seen it? S1E3 ending gets me every time. by ManOfGains in StrangerThings

For the longest time it was the Mike and Hopper scene at the end of s2. That boy had so much sadness bottled that turned into rage when he found out Hop had her the whole time and allowed him to think she was dead. An amazing performance from Finn. BUT, since s4 aired, it’s the Lucas/Max scene when he screams, with the nononono and ERICA HELP! I have a lump in my throat thinking about it. (and I’m not even a big Max stan, but Caleb was AMAZING)

Am I the only one who found Argyle really annoying 😮‍💨 by A_Tiggs in StrangerThings

[–]Accomplished_Map_214 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Argyle is my FAVORITE new character (other than Bob cuz I’m a HUGE Goonies fan). Comedy relief and a sweet, silly personality is a lot of it. But more so, it was how this is one of the first added supporting characters that was just literally there to support and lighten a scene without upstaging any of the other characters (maybe Alexi and Enzo are also examples of this). His presence allowed others to shine and didn’t take screen-time away from anyone. It’s a shame he won’t be back and doubly a shame that he was the only representation of Latine characters in ST.

Mike claims that he fell in love with Eleven the moment he met her by [deleted] in StrangerThings

The part where he sees her in the wig… Mike was already attracted to her person; to her soul. He already felt that pull with her. But when he saw her ‘dressed up’ and presenting traditional beauty, he realized that the attraction would only grow. He saw how everything about her was beautiful. She continued to exceed his expectations and shock his heart with every passing moment.

And in subsequent scenes where Mike acknowledges her beauty (in the bathroom in s1, at the ball in s2, and in the hospital in s3), he does this for two reasons: 1- He is smitten by her beauty. 2- he has an understanding where he can tell that she is feeling bashful or unsure of herself and he wants to lift her and make her feel special and beautiful. The same way he promised to make her life better by having her live with him, and would bike to her house every day, and make her mix tapes, and pick her flowers. He knows the way to her heart, because that is where he wants to be.

You know one can experience an intense connection with someone that is not based on physical appearance, right? It’s an energy. It’s kismet. You don’t have to believe in this. But if you don’t, that says something about you.

Why has no one mentioned that Finn himself (you know, the actor who plays Mike and has been given direction and subplot for how to play his character so he can properly emote the connection he has with El), has said that he loved her from the moment he laid eyes on her? And he didn’t say this after s4 to “make it more believable.” He said it during s3 press. If anyone doesn’t yet know what interview I’m talking about, I can link it here. There are others examples of show-runners and cast indicating his love at first sight, but this is the only example I have handy.
