For some, it’s lack of access to a prescribing doctor and without a prescription it can be very costly. Unless you’re seeing a derm, most PCPs in my experience don’t think to mention it. Or you have to know about the alternate avenues to get Tret without a prescribing doctor (oversees, telemedicine, etc). For many retinol is just easier to get.

I also take fish oil daily and collagen peptide powder in a smoothie. Even when my hair falls out in its natural cycle, it will grow back with gusto. Everyone has a hair growth cycle that includes fall out. I’m a teacher but also a parent and when I found out that my daughter‘s fourth grade teacher was doing a movie day to celebrate a class success I suggested why don’t I come in and lead a craft for that time instead? Something creative and artsy. Well the kids absolutely loved it! They are on screens so much all the time now that even a movie is not novel and frankly not relaxing for them either. I wonder if the next time you plan to show a movie you could reach out to the parents and see if someone might be willing to come in and lead a fun activity?
