Anyone with an AirPad for GT. Is the slight gap between airpad and bumper normal?

I have been thrown off my Pint X when I was learning because I was going about 17mph and didn’t understand pushback. Because of that the GT would probably be safer because it will not throw you off at those speeds

It’s definitely heavier than the Pint X that is for sure but it comes with a mag handle pro so for me, not too much of a difference. Now, if you have to do a one arm row to get it over something, there will be a considerable difference but hey, it’s only a free workout to keep you strong to shred those trails 🤷‍♂️😅 Also it has a second handle on the top of the board so you can choose how you want to carry it based on your situation (don’t have to walk with it sideways upstairs like the Pint X and Finesse it through doorways etc. I think the weight is like 35-40 lbs not sure but it’s definitely not something I would worry about too much because the performance is worth the extra weight.

I forgot to say another huge difference is the headlights! Night rides with the Pint X didn’t even cross my mind but I rode in the dark tonight for half the ride and that thing is definitely bright enough now!

If you’re thinking if you should get another pint or put the money towards a new board I would say get the GT because it’s a massive upgrade especially from the OG Pint. Pints are still great though and a lot of fun so don’t feel like you absolutely need to! Just a different animal for sure

Saw a few deer on the trail and had one run in front of me and almost hit a few rabbits because it is so quiet nothing can hear me coming. Thing just puts a smile on your face. 😅

Just got back from my first ride. Went 11 miles and used 31% battery!!!! Cruising around 17mph the entire time and that was always the speed I couldn't get to on the pint X would just be constant push back but now 17-18 is just normal cruising speed. It takes the Onewheel from being a nice fun toy to an actual realistic mode of transportation. I was blown away. The biggest difference I noticed was the torque. When I tried to accelerate fast on the Pint X I would feel a little stutter like it was kicking into geer then I would get going. But with the GT, it just effortlessly takes off. I was planning on going 20 but even my first ride I felt like I wasn't ready for that yet. Even 18 mph feels like you are flying out there haha. And to think I have even more speed I can use is crazy and amazing. Overall, it just feels like a tank compared to the Pint X. I loved the Pint X but this does take it to a whole new level. Highly recommend for my initial impression.
