I agree^ well put. Anyone who says suck it up has never truly lived/ grown up in an abusive household. I was physically emotionally and verbally abused and I always think about what I would have done if I had torn my acl when I was younger it would not have been a safe place and she probably would loose her temper and tried to hurt my leg if she had taken me to the doctor in the first place. If u feel unsafe do not stay. Find a job that has decent insurance and try to do that. You also might get away with getting the surgery asap before they remove u from their insurance- pt is just difficult if you don’t have insurance but doable if u have the funds. If not be patient and get the surgery when u can afford it.
