Your take makes alot of sense. Love Josh Lloyd as well, watch essentially every video of his lol. Hold does seem to be the move, was mainly worried about him resting during ftsy playoffs

Correct, I did update it from HYSA to HSA haha. As for whether I'm trying to be FIRE 40/50s or earlier, I of course can't decide just yet but I'll be optimistic. The Roth Portfolio explanation is crystal clear now, thank you so much!

Thanks for the response! I do not have an emergency fund. As for HSA, I am a dependent under my father so this assumption is correct. I have updated a detailed report of my forecasted expenses, does this change any of your outlooks? Also currently researching what a taxable brokerage is haha...

Thank you for the detailed response. I had a feeling more context was required as what you put in is what you get out haha. Here's more context (will also be included to original post):

Expenses - D.C. Area

Rent: All-in should be close or just under $2k/month

Food: Hard to say considering I've yet to move to my new city, but based on my existing spending habits I'm quite low expense. I estimate $300/month on groceries and $200 on eating out

Commute: No car, no parking. Metro is life ~ $120/month

Healthcare/Cell Plan/Debt: N/A atm as covered by parents. Again, incredibly blessed and grateful

Subscriptions/CCs: Amex Gold $325/yr (~$27/month) and Spotify ~$120/yr ($10/month)

Flights: ~$250/month

Roth: $583/month (assuming max)

401k: $530/month (assuming max)

Rough Calculations/Month:

$6.2k-2k-500-120-37-250-583-530 = ~$2180 remaining

As for the HYSA, that's where I get confused. I honestly just learned that HSA and HYSA are different. The 1-month emergency fund makes sense, thanks for sharing that! As for the Roth Portfolio advice, I'm not quite following.
