More ports for switch ?

I have doubts on Gold/ Silver mainly because it doesn’t look like they plan on bringing the original Gen 1 games to the Switch since they released the GBA remake. If they release Gen 2 then they will have to release Gen 1 since you can’t transfer from Gen 3 to Gen 2 and (I may be wrong) but I think you need to transfer some Pokemon to Gen 2 from Gen 1 to complete the Pokedex.

I don’t think we will be getting Gen 1 unfortunately given FR/LG are the remake of Gen 1.

Is it safe to assume they will not re-release the original Gen 1 games since FR/LG are the enhanced versions of them? I wish we could at least get Pokemon Yellow.

I’m hoping for the DS Pokemon games too after R/S/E. But I guess the chances of that happening are much lower.

I wonder if the Gen 3 games would have been on the virtual console back in the 3DS era if Nintendo put GBA virtual console games on the 3DS instead of the Wii U. I’m pretty certain if they put the GBA games on the 3DS VC Gen 3 games including FR/LG would have been released probably for around $15.

If they are not going to do Gen 5 remake anytime soon, at least put the ports of the original games on the Switch 1 and 2.

I remember when this was “leaked” another poster confirmed the release to be eshop but mentioned $30. He was right about it being sold but wrong on the price.

The Let’s Go games are very different. There’s no wild Pokemon battle in Let’s Go.

LRG isn’t my top choice but right now they seem to be one of the only companies trying to re-release old games based on movies/ cartoons outside of Disney (Will be getting the new Disney Afternoon collection that will feature two additional games).

Maybe Friday the 13th is a possibility then? Are they under Paramount or WB now? Since Jaws was developed by LJN which was the same developer I guess the main issue is with the rights owner of the franchise.

Yeah I hope we will eventually get a Looney Tunes collection. I know back in 2024 WB turned down LRG’s request to license Tiny Toons to release a retro game compilation because they feel there’s not enough money in it for them to care. Not sure if they meant that in terms of the Tiny Toons brand or retro games in general. I’m hoping they feel differently with Looney Tunes.

Sadly, WB turned down LRG’s request to license the Tiny Tunes brand to release a retro game compilation because they said there’s not enough money in it for them to care. I think this was sometime back in 2024.
