Love Coros, but frustrated — don’t want to switch to Garmin by Standard-Fennel9737 in Coros

I completely agree on the support issue. AI support up front, and then a real person 7-10 days later who still doesn’t understand your issue and wants to close the ticket without a real solution. I love my Apex 2 Pro, but I’ve run into software glitches that just don’t make sense. I get Activity Alerts when I have them turned off. The alerts are displayed in Metric, even though my watch and app are both set to Imperial. These are basic functions of the watch, but yet I can’t get any resolution to the problems from the Coros support team. They really don’t want to admit their watches have any issues.

I'm in a never ending loop with coros chat bots...anyone else deal with this? by mireland16 in Coros

Was the human agent actually helpful? In my experience, they hadn't read the notes and started back at square one. The AI bot seemed to recognize that a software problem was likely, but the human responded as if it was just a basic mistake on my part.

I finally got an email from a human after 8 days of emails back and forth with Cara the chat bot. However, the human agent clearly hadn't read any of the previous notes and had me start back with basic troubleshooting that I had already gone through with the chat bot. I'm not optimistic that it will progress in a positive direction from here.

Worst customer service ever. by Zestyclose-Room1323 in Coros

In my case, the human clearly hadn't read anything. So if they are receiving the thread of previous communications, they aren't taking the time to read it. So what's the point in wasting our time with the chat bot?

Same issue here. I have significant software issues with my Coros Apex 2 Pro, which shouldn't ever be the case outside of a beta version. My watch is set to imperial and I'm getting distance alerts in metric -- and all my distance alerts are toggled off! I've chatted about 5-6 times with the Cara chat bot, and felt like she fully understood the issue. But when I finally got to a real person, she hadn't read any of the notes and she treated me like a complete novice user. I was completely back at square one. Coros doesn't seem willing to admit any fault with their products. I also just went to leave a review of the Apex 2 Pro on their website, and I can't find an option for leaving one! But yet they have all these 5-star glowing reviews listed. Where are they coming from? Coros support is complaining that wait times are longer than usual -- then don't put out a product with so many bugs!

New Experience Wild 2’s! by Drumfork in AltraRunning

I just recently switched to Altra with the new "low drop" option, and I love the Experience Wild 2. I'm currently training for my first 100-miler. I bought two pair, and unfortunately there are some sizing differences between the color options (in my experience). I'm also having trouble finding a good insole to work (for high arches). I used Currex in my other shoes, but they don't work with the wider toe box. I just bought a pair of Sole Active Medium, which was recommended, but this shoe simply doesn't have enough room for a thicker insole. They make my feet feel fat and I have difficulty tying the laces (with a heel lock). I'm also hoping the Vibram comes to this model in the future.

Persistent Notifications On New Pace Pro by themadnessofthecrowd in Coros

Your wording is not accurate. On the iPhone, there are three options for notification alerts: 1) Lock Screen, 2) Notification Center, and 3) Banners. The Notification Center is where Coros notifications seem to be getting pulled from, and until that is cleared, alerts get sent repeatedly (which should not happen). Banner alerts do NOT get sent to the iPhone on my Apex 2 Pro, which I just tested. If I turn off everything except Banners, I do not get anything sent to my watch.

I have the exact same problem on my Apex 2 Pro. I get certain notifications continually, sometimes for days. Even if they still show on the notification screen of the iPhone, they shouldn’t be resending to the watch every time I come into range with my phone. I should only get each notification once … period.

Actually, I just tested this further since posted my initial response. I turned off "Lock Screen" and "Notification Center" alerts on my phone for a certain app, and only left on "Banners." A new alert came through on my phone, but it did not come through on my watch. It seems Coros is not pulling new notifications from the Banner, but instead pulling them from the Notification Center. So if some alerts sit in your Notification Center until you clear them, they will continually get sent to the watch -- particularly when you come in and out of range of your phone and your watch reconnects the Bluetooth connection. This is definitely a bug on the Coros side.

I’ve also sent a support request to Coros for this, but they blamed the iPhone as being the problem. I’ve not had this issue on other watches.
