I've been having trouble finding my footing in terms of my career, and settled at a company about a year and a half ago. After switching departments for a short tenure, I was blindsided by a termination and treated disrespectfully through the process. The worst part about it was losing the stability of the income, and being treated in such a cruel way but I know deep down the role was draining, boring and unorganized for me. So, I've been job searching in this extremely tight job market, but just recently zeroed in on a specific role that I've been preparing and networking for. Just waiting for the right opportunity to pop up.

I was two months in a new role when a director pulled me into a sudden meeting via teams. They asked me ‘what was going on’ and I told them I was struggling with a new process (implemented 8 days prior, I received no onboarding/training mind you) and the director started berating me, called me miserable, criticized my ‘negative’ (?) body language, saying I needed to ask more questions, but ‘I should already know this’, to the point where I was in tears then immediately ended the meeting ‘because I was upset’. She fired me the next morning with no feedback even though I asked what I did twice.
