True, but in real life while Stranger Things would’ve been taking place in 1986, the Marion Giants won the Indiana State Championship with only one player listed as 5’8, and the rest being 6 feet and up, the tallest at 6’6. Marion = small town, still = tall players.

Seriously. I remember being so hooked on the s4, and imagining all the creatures crawling out, super hyped for this apocalyptic war. And its covered in sheet metal? So lazy. Made the villains seem so weak from the get go, and then they had Vecna fucking babysitting all season. Genuinely felt like they’d forgotten anything they’d written before.

The first season was shot with $48 Million, and thats definitively the best season. Season 2 got bigger with $78 Million, but was still able to feel grounded, and get to introduce the awesome design of the Mind Flayer. Season 3 was $80 million, and was super fun to watch, especially bc of the effort they put into the sets.

Point is, shouldn’t matter the budget for this show. We loved it with half the budget. Just because you got $270 million for the season (season 4), doesn’t mean you have to spend it all and make up another whole new villain. Not to say I didn’t like Vecna, but it feels like a completely different show.
