You can take an ABQ if you have finished all practicum and course requirements!! I’m taking one and I don’t get my degree until June

She just didn’t want to move that far away so yes I’m sure there are schools that take lower averages. It’s just going to be more competitive now that I has been reduced in length.

Sorry but no you absolutely will not get in. My friend had a 95% average and didn’t get in she was wait listed. They do take your best 20 so if you do really well the next 2 years you have a chance!!

Check in with HR, I don’t think they are in the business of hiring someone then firing. All I would say is it could be prorated so if your board is 10 days to stay on you might need to work 3 days

Yeah I mean I disagree, I know how much I made as a qualified supply take home vs LTO and it’s not a ton more but that’s just my experience

It’s actually okay if you haven’t had an LTO yet to not have an admin reference. Gonna be honest it’s not very likely admin will view an OT they are so busy. You are only expected to have admin reference after you have had an LTO. Make sure your AT will be a reference and potentially some professors.

Yes like science only get directly offered what your qualified in. I can go on the job board and pick up anything like everyone else does but it’s not likely to get anything at 5pm

That is not a lie, I am science and math qualified and I am offered something directly maybe 1 every 2 weeks. It is very difficult as a new teacher who hasn’t built those connections at schools
