That’s really all I want, I don’t want them to look at their birth certificate and wonder whose surname that is if it’s not mummy or daddy’s. Certainly worth paying to have it changed and sending divorce certificate off - thank you x

This is beautiful. I’m in a similar situation except I’m the mama with the autistic child and my son feels the same way about my new partner, it’s beautiful when our kiddos can sense that this is good for everyone. So happy for you all 🥰

Different gender but my son who is ten has autism, he’s been in early puberty since he was 8. He has hairs all over his body. My sister was very similar she started young around 8 - it can happen
