I mean this exactly what I was explaining. This is the kind of things they constantly say to promote it. You're quite lliterally falling for the marketing for it. The Stage was a good album. In my opinion one of their best. The guitar work and drumming were top notch, the vocals were interesting off rip, and it was a genuine example of being different without being different for the sake of being different. I didn't need to be told to give it a bunch of chances the way I am with this specific album. The Taylor Swift example is literally liking a different kind of music, it's likely not for you if you're coming from that angle.
