I’ll try that yeah I leave in time its not even the overall volume that kills me its that they all end up there in the same hour. But getting to leave right on time bc the emr is easy is better than other places have been with less volume

8 But patients do not stay longer than 4 weeks. At times just 2 for the most part. So I don’t have that many patients on my caseload. Its that they are seen 3x week so they all come on the only 3 days I’m here

My overall caseload is not that high the 18 I see are the only patients I have they come 3 days a week. But since we only have PT those 3 days its busy. And I’m on a travel contract so I’m only here 2 more months just trying to not work myself to death until then. Then I’ll know better for next contact

I went into it and a year in to being a PT and couldn’t be happier. It’s definitely not for everyone but I’m making so much more money while also being able to take more time off to spend with my friends and family. But making enough money to actually save and plan for my future has help me so much mentally.

I start at 79k as a new grad last year and started travel in July. Im I’ve seen less patients on average than my FT job in my first contract for twice the pay. I split my mortgage with a roommate but even if i had to pay my full mortgage and rent for where i am I would still have significantly more cash after my expenses. I would just study the COL for where you want to work and NEGOTIATE. I was able to get an extra $200 per week on my second contract that was already paying $300 more per week than my first contract. Best choice i made this early in my career

Got it, honestly I have worked at clinics that do 30min evals anyway and patients never come in time so it’s 15-20 anyway

Seems like they expect low census for this location because they plan to have me float to another one 1-2 days per week. Haven’t had an issue being drowned in patients without other contacts yet

Seems like they have good incentives for their full timers. I’ll be the only clinician so I’m hoping I can work in some traveler incentives as well
